Instagram Art Theft

Description

We are all aware of art theft. Some more than others.
While some users do not know they are stealing due to lack of credit, other are fully aware and obtain money in doing so.
What are they using to sell? How is it Deviant art is not punishing this? Well, that is because the thieves are commonly found on other sites such as Tumblr, Twitter, but lately they can be found on Instagram.

:bulletgreen: What is Instagram?
Instagram is an online photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services.

:bulletgreen: What kind of things are you allowed to post?
According to the Terms of Use: instagram.com/legal/terms/
"We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same." (thats cute)

Instagram is a stupid site. Period. They control nothing, and things that get reported are never taken care of. My advice? Don't use intagram until they FIX their Terms of Use and they have more control and action over what people are posting.
I'm just going to throw this out there: If you are adopting stuff on instagram: you are stupid. If you cannot see a stolen piece when its staring back at you; you are stupid. If you are one of those people who steal characters, who already belong to someone; You're stupid.

Many examples from DA have been stolen:

Stop instagram theft.

I like to use Instagram to share photos I take of nature and the animals around me. The only time I have ever downloaded photos to use from dA have been MY photos from MY account. I hope they fix this, I'd hate to see people keep getting their art stolen :(
